Thanks, +Tammy Rounds for reminding me it's important to take care of myself. This is a busy week with Thanksgiving guests arriving, and grandkids spending the night Friday. From Angie Webster on ReikiRays.com we read:
"When you give Reiki to yourself you are staying directly in touch with the sensation of offering and receiving Reiki. For those that are new to Reiki, acquainting yourself with these sensations is helpful."Yes, I am new to Reiki, but have felt the source of strength in the past while raising my children. Now they are grown, and those same feelings come to my heart with each grandchild. I love watching them grow, and the ability a "grandma" has to be an influence for good.

I relish the feeling when I self-reiki. Like exercise, taking time to stop and smell the roses, etc...it feels good to focus time and energy on self love, healing. Often, I forget and get too busy with what's "urgent" and don't practice self-care. Luckily, my body is a pretty good evaluator of my max stressload and chimes in to remind me with aches and pains ;)
